Our Vision
We seek to establish an independent church in the area of Rostraver Township. We want a church that is friendly and driven to make a difference in this community and eventually the Mon Valley.
Our Mission
Jesus Christ instructed his followers to go into all the world and preach the Gospel (Mark 16:15). Therefore we will do so here in Rostraver and then as God allows we will partner with others to spread the gospel around the world.
Our Process
Following Jesus begins by learning and trusting his words and then choosing to obey them. When we evaluate Jesus' actions there is no denying they were motivated by love and compassion. He taught, healed, preached, served, suffered, and rose from the dead. Following his example, we will lovingly teach the word of God and serve those who are in need around us.

Our Beliefs
The Bible
We believe in the verbal inspiration, the Divine preservation, and the authority of the Scriptures.
Need of Redemption
We believe that the Bible reveals God, the fall of man, the way of salvation, and God’s plans and purposes for the ages.
The Trinity
We believe in God the Father, God the Son, and God the Holy Spirit, and that these Three are One.
The Gospel
We believe that Jesus Christ is the virgin born, only begotten Son of Almighty God, Who lived a sinless life, died a vicarious and atoning death for all, and was raised from the dead by Almighty God.
Salvation
We believe in a literal Heaven and Hell. Salvation from hell is a gift from God given by God's grace through one's faith alone. We believe that one is justified and deemed righteous before God only on the merit of our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ.
The Return of Jesus
We believe in the visible, personal, and pre-millennial return of Jesus Christ.
Pastor's Message
Thank you for visiting us online. My name is Sean Johnson and my family and I would like to invite you to visit our church. I grew up here in Rostraver graduating from Belle Vernon Area High school in 2003. Living in and around the township my entire adult life – I love giving back to this community.

What Bible Translation do you use? and why...
We teach and preach from the King James Bible. We recognize many readers initially find some words to be archaic and hard to understand. However, our teaching style helps everyone of all ages learn and understand the Word of God. Because many modern versions keep changing we have found it less confusing to use a traditional text and to define unfamiliar terms rather than consider multiple translations and sometimes misleading readings of modern texts.
Additionally, studies have been done on this topic and have concluded the King James Bible to be written on a 5th Grade Reading level with many modern versions grading out to be more difficult.
Is your service traditional or contemporary?
Our worship services are traditional and conservative in style. We use a mix of traditional hymns and modern spiritual songs. We praise the Lord with live singing accompanied by classical instruments (piano, brass and woodwind instruments, acoustic guitar, etc.).
